Ok this is off my previous family topic but...I am going to try something new. One of my most favorite things to do is dream REALLY BIG about a home that I will own someday. If only the funds to make my home my Dream Home were available, hence the dream part. Maybe some day. I love decorating and learning how to do things on the cheap. So I am going to try, try very hard in fact to share with you things that I love and want my home to possibly resemble someday. Now if I fail at this attempt, you don't have to rub it in. I will have already beat myself up for it. So bare with me and lets make this fun....
To start, the one room that I want to redo in our house is the kitchen. It is so dark and old, uuugghh just plain yucky. Here are a few pics of kitchens that I dream about in my sleep...
http://www.lifeingraceblog.com/ since I could paste pics of this kitchen then let me just tell you what I love
-The sink, in fact I am drooling over it right now
-open shelves, although I think I would have less kind of more like this. Minus the pink walls and fake greenery.
-the subway tile backsplash
Love the pendant light in this kitchen and the wall color, thanks Young House Love

Come to find out, this cute little kitchen, sorry I forgot where I found it is pretty much a little big of everything I love, pendant lights, open shelves, farm sink, beadboard ceilings, a little blue color, and loverly wood countertops. Light, refreshing and definately a place I could bake some yummy zucchini bread or banana bread, whatever your in the mood for.

Well thats all for now folks. Have a splendid weekend!

First of all, is that Erik's chin?!!!
Second of all, the only thing I love more than you blogging again is the fact that Klaasen just slept five hours straight for the second night in a row!
Third of all, I can't wait for you to give Kinley that many brothers and sisters! Just as long as I'm not expected to buy them all Christmas presents every year!
And last of all, I love you guys. It has been so fun for me to watch you guys blossom into parents. I can't wait to see what the next 80 years has in store for you (hopefully it will consist of us living closer than 1,000 miles apart!).
Hey! That's the best looking chin I've ever seen! I don't know which celebrity you pulled that off of, but I might have to hit up my plastic surgeon buddy to see if it's do-able.
